SEATTLE, Wash. -- Scott Frost rushed for two touchdowns, as the sixth-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers upset the third-ranked Washington Huskies, 27-14, at Husky Stadium.

This game marked the first time that two teams ranked this high have met in Husky Stadium. The last time that was November 6, 1982 when ninth-ranked UCLA took on the 10th-ranked Huskies. Washington won that game, 10-7.

Ahman Green added a rushing touchdown for Nebraska, which improved to 3-0. Washington dropped to 2-1.

Frost broke free on a 34-yard touchdown scamper just past the halfway point of the first quarter for a 7-0 lead. The Cornhuskers went up by 14 on Frost's second score, a 30-yard run with just 1:51 left in the opening period.

Frost completed 8-of-15 passes for 88 yards, and added 18 rushes for 97 yards.

Nebraska appeared on its way to a blowout, when Green scored on a four-yard run for a 21-0 advantage with over seven minutes left in the second quarter.

However, Washington finally got on the scoreboard, as Marques Tuiasosopo hit Cameron Cleeland on an 11-yard scoring strike with just over a minute to play in the half.

Washington's starting quarterback Brock Huard left the game in the second quarter with a sprained left ankle. Tuiasosopo was 12-for-22 for 270 yards in a backup role.

The Huskies drew within seven on Tuiasosopo's two-yard pass to Mike Reed with 2:49 left in the third, but Nebraska added two fourth-quarter field goals from Kris Brown, finalizing the 27-14 win.

Brown's field goals were from 31 and 20 yards out and he now has 29 career field goals -- the most in school history.

Nebraska is 50-3-0 in its last 53 games, but Washington still leads the all-time series, 3-2-1.

Washington's Jerome Pathon, on the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver, caught five passes for 195 yards and has gone over 100 receiving yards in his last three games.

Joe Makovicka carried the ball 12 times for 129 yards for Nebraska, and Green had 29 carries for 129 yards as the Huskers rolled to 384 total yards -- 212 in the first half.
